Author Talks:
Each year the festival presents a number of authors to give readings and talks about their new works. In 2009 Beppe Severgnini and Frances Mayes read from his best seller La Bella Figura while British author and Umbrian resident Barry Unsworth wowed us with his extensive historical knowledge while reading from his new work ‘Land of Marvels’.

In 2008 and 2009 the journalist and essayist Matthew Gurewitsch gave some fascinating lectures over some superb lunches in one of Cortona's best restaurants.
We look forward to announcing our new lunch and lecture series soon.
This popular free event takes place outdoors in the courtyard of Sant Agostino Artists who have been interviewed recently include: Anthony Hopkins, Jose Cura and Danielle De Niese.
